Prof. Dr. Ute Klammer

Prof. Dr. Ute Klammer studied German studies, philosophy, pedagogy and economics in Cologne. She is the Managing Director of the Institute for Work, Skills and Training at the Duisburg-Essen University. She also acts as the chairwoman of the expert commission of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth on gender equality. She is also a board member of the social policy section of the German Sociological Association. In addition, Prof. Dr. Ute Klammer is a board member of the Gesellschaft für Sozialen Fortschritt e.V. (Society for Social Progress) and serves on the advisory board of the research network on provision for old age of the German Pension Fund (Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund). She has been a professor for social policy at the Duisburg-Essen University since 2007.

Prof. Dr. Ute Klammer has been a member of the Social Advisory Council since 2016.
